27th Interns Orientation Programme – 2023

27th Interns Orientation Programme 27th Batch Interns Orientation Programme was organized by department of microbiology on 30/03/2023 from 10am to 1pm in Kadamba hall.
The Program was started with welcome speech by Dr. Lakshminarayana S A Professor and HOD of Microbiology.
Dean Dr. Sathyamurthy B congratulated and advised interns regarding roles and responsibilities of Indian Medical Graduate. Later the 1st talk was done by Dr. Rekha N H, Professor of General Medicine regarding the case sheet writing and taking consent. Followed by Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, talk on the Do’s and don’ts of sample collection and transportation for lab investigations. Then Dr. Yashaswini M K, Associate Professor of Microbiology, talk on infection control practices and Dr. Archana BR regarding BMW and NSI management. Vaccination status of interns was documented. Oral feedback was taken after the program.Around 200 students attended the program.
Then the program was concluded by vote of thanks from Dr. Lakshminarayana S A.
