International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year
RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital celebrated International Women’s day on 8th March’15. Teaching & Non-Teaching staff took part with great fanfare .This day marks the occasion of saluting women’s achievements and also to recognize the challenges & think of ways to overcome them. After inauguration, Dr. Prema. R, Professor, Peadiatrics spoke on the importance of women & women’s education and also women’s role in today’s society.. Dr. Sangeetha.S, Prof & HOD, Microbiology shared her views about the women empowerment. A variety of cultural progammes and games were organized and the participants enjoyed themselves thoroughly from all the staff. The Celebrations ended with high tea.
