24th November Tuesday, all roads led to RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital at Mysore Road. All the Kannada enthusiasts actively took part in the Kannada Rajyotsava program “ Nudi Sambhrama “. Renowned write Nadoja Hampa Nagarajiah graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Prabhudev, Special Officer, RRMCH presided over the function. Welcoming the dignitaries, Dean, RRMCH, Dr. H.V. Shetty , said that RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital has set an unprecedented bench mark by conducting Kannada Rajyotsava program for the past 5 years.
The faculty and the staff of Physiology department, then sang the Naada Geethe which was truly mesmerising. The medical director Dr. D.L. Ramachandra, Principal, Dr. S. Naveen, Medical Superintendent were also present on the occasion. Many noted books were reviewed by various reputed authors on varied topics.
Speaking on the occasion, The chief guest Nagarajiah called for the Kannada language to be more flexible and reach out to the masses.
Dr. Nagarathnamma, HOD from OBG, Dr. Adarsh, HOD, Pediatrics chaired the reviewing session. Students and staff alike were very enthusiastically took part in the entire program.
