Kannada Rajyotsava with Kannada Nudi Sambharama

Like always, RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital is in the forefront when it comes to taking the initiative. Every year, the college organizes Kannada Rajyotsava Program, inviting Kannada literary luminaries and providing them a platform to seek and share knowledge. This is first of its kind as no other medical college does conduct these Kannada programs on a regular basis as RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital. This year too, the college organized “Kannada Nudi Smabharama” on 24th November, 2014 on Monday at the College. The prestigious event was graced by Kannada enthusiasts within and across Karnataka. The function was be presided by Mr. Vijayanand, Executive Director, Dr. Prabhudeva, Special officer, Dr. D.L. Ramachandra, Medical Director, Dr. L. Rangappa, Dean, Dr. Vasanth Kulkarni amongst others.
The entire day activities included honoring the doctors who have also made a mark in Kannada literature especially medical literature. Dr. Shamanthakamani Narendran and Dr. Leelavathi Devadoss.
Poem recitation by illustrious poets like Sri. Jaragana Halli Shivashankara, Dr. H.N.Pushpa, Dr. Nagaraja T.M and many more. Three Kannada Books were reviewed and an array of cultural programs by the students and the staff then followed. Many doctors enthusiastically participated in the event. The office staff rendered a beautiful Kannada song thus bringing a fitting finale to a very enriching day for all Kannada Literature fans.
