A noble Initiative to clean India Swachh Bharat Abhiyan- The management , faculty, staff and students are taking part in this noble initiative on 13th November between 2 PM to 4 PM.
RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital took part in Swacch Bharat Abhiyan on 13th November between 2 PM to 4 PM. The entire top management, Doctors, staff and students took part in this initiative started by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi. This entire exercise was taken under the leadership of Sri. A.C. Shanmugam, Chairman RRGI. All the participants were asked to gather at the College Reception Lobby at 2 PM. The place started buzzing with the faculties and the students from 1.30 PM itself. All the housekeeping materials were assembled and the entire premises was divided in to 10 zones each headed by one management person and a HOD with doctors and the students. There were 30 people in each group. The students, doctors and everyone enthusiastically took the brooms and cleaned the areas allotted to them. There was lot of excitement in the air. They all felt that they were part of a noble endeavour thus making it a memorable day for everyone. Speaking on the occasion Dr. D. L. Ramachandra , Medical Director, RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital said that the purpose behind this campaign was to create an awareness amongst the students and the patients. Many more programs Tare in the pipeline. The event was followed by snacks and tea for everyone.
